Hello Jeff,
I did the exact thing you did, it did not came out the way it turned out to be. I did this 3 times. I even copy the number from the diagram.
Do you have different histogram than me? Or what else?

Make sure you have administrator account settings when you do this operation, it’s a Windows specific thing.

When I try to put it in the plugins file, a screen come up and says “error”

Hi Sarah,
It’s a little bit tricky because the downloaded file is in .zip format. You first must extract the files then move them to the Photofiltre Plugins folder.

I prefer to use Winzip and extract the file directly to the plugins folder in one hit, but you can use any of the free .zip extraction tools available such as 7zip.
Also you can just click on the file in Windows and you can extract the files as well.

Use Windows Explorer (start>>programs>> accessories) to move files to the plugins folder.

Hey Jeff,

I can’t find the plug-in folder. I downloaded the histogram plug-in many times, but I don’t know where to put it. I don’t get where you said “Copy it to the plug-in folder….”

i cant find the photfiltre/plugins folder, i can get all the way up to the extracting part but i cant figure out the rest

Hi Chantelle,

Look under the Menu: FILTER>>PLUGIN
It should be listed under there, if it’s installed correctly.
A few more points:
1. You can check plugins you have installed by going to “?” (question mark) on the top menu then…”About Plugins…”

2. Don’t forget to restart Photofiltre after you install a new plugin to make it active.

3. When you download Photofiltre plugins they are in .zip format. You need to extract the plugin, which is a .pfl file…so for example the histogram plugin file name is “histogramme.pfl”. Move this file to Photofiltre\Plugins folder
